It’s been about a month and a half since my last update so I thought I’d share some progress on book 9. Currently, 29 out of 65 pages have their thumbnails “tied-down”, meaning I know where the camera is pointing and how the characters are posed in the panels.

It doesn’t look like much right now, but when I loop back to it, all I have to do is draw the lineart instead of worrying where everything needs to go on the page. It also helps me visualize it so I can see if what I had in the script actually flows well when reading it.
In other news I’m going to be moving in a couple of weeks, only about 2 miles away from my current place but it’s still a process. During packing I ended up creating a box labeled “G.S.” (See caption for it’s meaning):

I’m not one for possessions but I do have my small share of gummi stuff I’ve collected over the years. This also isn’t all of it. Haha.
In regards to the comic, the moving hasn’t slowed me down much. I still work on it almost daily even if it’s just for an hour or so. I’m excited to start drawing this out and share the final lineart. In the meantime, thank you for paying attention to my little/not-so-little side hobby.
Until next time!
